Group Therapy
True healing occurs in community, not isolation.

“I’d talked about this stuff one-on-one for years. But something happened when I said it out loud in a room and someone across from me just… nodded. Like they knew. Like they’d been there too. That recognition—I didn’t know how much I needed it until I felt it.”
Healing in Community
Group therapy offers something individual therapy can’t: the lived experience of being truly seen and heard by people who understand. In group, you’re not just receiving support—you’re part of a community of healing. Shared stories, mutual recognition, and collective resilience are built in real time.
Thomas Blake Therapy offers multiple specialized groups designed for specific communities and therapeutic goals—from LGBTQ+ process groups and psychedelic integration to trauma survivor support and creative healing.

How Groups are Facilitated
Each group is facilitated with clinical depth, lived understanding, and a commitment to creating a space that is safe, affirming, and genuinely useful.
As a queer therapist with specialized training in trauma, LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy, and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, I bring the same whole-person lens to group work that I bring to individual sessions.
Groups follow an open-process format where no topic is off limits and every session is responsive to the group’s needs. I create the container—members bring themselves.
